Planning carpet cleaning in Putney

Pristine works with facilities teams, managing agents and business occupiers in Putney. Request a site survey for a one-off clean, a maintenance programme or both. Coverage and availability are confirmed using the site postcode.

Reception carpet with seating on it

Reception and meeting rooms combine measured carpet with chairs and sofas. The carpet is priced by area; the seating is assessed and quoted separately once item counts and fabric details are known.

What to confirm about the seating

In a reception or meeting room, the carpet and the chairs or sofas on it are two separate jobs. Carpet is priced from the measured area at the published square-metre rates. Seating is assessed item by item and quoted separately; carpet rates do not apply to it, and the seating price is confirmed after assessment. Before the survey, confirm:

  1. Item counts. Chairs, sofas and other seating, counted by room.
  2. Fabric labels. Care labels or manufacturer details you hold, and which items have none.
  3. Movement. Which items can be moved and who moves them, so the carpet underneath can be reached.
  4. Holding space. Where cleaned seating can stand while it dries, away from the carpet being cleaned.
  5. Next use. When each room and item is next needed, and who confirms it can be used again.

The blank seating inventory (CSV) has a column for each of these. Approximate counts are enough to start; we confirm them on site. The fabric is identified before a method is chosen, and some fabrics or marks may be excluded. Pristine does not hot-water-extract viscose, rayon or art silk.

A joint visit can share one access window, with the carpet and seating itemised separately in the written quote.

Choose the scope your building needs

For an office, include carpet tiles, desk routes and meeting rooms as separate zones where their condition differs. For a managed block, list communal corridors, stairs and lobbies against the correct building and floor.

Survey, price and access

We measure the carpet, assess its condition and agree the cleaning method before issuing a fixed written quote. Published rates run from £2.00 to £2.80/m² with a £250 minimum per visit; no VAT is added. Separate buildings and stair areas need their own confirmed scope.

Evening, overnight and weekend work is included within the agreed scope. Supply the building’s loading, lift and contractor-access instructions at survey. For driving-zone rules and charges, use Transport for London’s current guidance for the actual address and date.

Local booking questions

Is reception seating included in the carpet price?

No. Seating is assessed item by item and quoted separately; the square-metre carpet rates do not apply to chairs or sofas. The fabric is checked before any method is agreed, and stain removal is not guaranteed.

Do you offer recurring carpet maintenance in Putney?

Yes. The survey establishes which zones need attention, the visit scope and a suitable frequency. Initial deep cleaning and ongoing maintenance can be quoted separately.

What do you need to arrange a survey?

The company name, site postcode, building type and a contact who can arrange access. Floor plans and an approximate carpet area are useful if available; we confirm measurements on site.
