What this number means
The tool multiplies the area by its applicable rate, applies the £250 visit minimum, then multiplies by the number of visits and identical buildings. For example, 400m² at £2.80/m² is £1,120 per visit. Four equivalent visits give an indicative annual budget of £4,480 for one building.
Rates apply to the whole measured area in the relevant band, so crossing a band boundary changes the rate for that whole area. Confirm the measured area and scope at survey.
A maintenance programme may have different visit scopes
You may need targeted traffic-lane work between deeper cleans. The initial restoration may also be different from routine maintenance. This tool uses the same area and published rate at every visit to keep the assumptions visible; it does not calculate programme discounts or predict savings.
