A scope for the shared areas
- Communal carpet in corridors, landings and entrance areas.
- Stair carpet and lift lobbies, itemised where appropriate.
- Suitable communal seating, separately assessed and quoted.
This is a service for managing agents, building managers and commercial operators. The quote defines the communal areas and does not include individual residents’ homes.
Plan around the people who still need access
Walk the routes with the building manager. Agree the work sequence, equipment position, resident communications and safe separation of cleaning areas. Include fire doors and escape routes in the site assessment; do not assume that a warning sign is an access control.
Separate an initial clean from the ongoing programme
An initial clean establishes the starting condition. Later visits may target entrances and busy corridors between wider deep cleans. Keep the area and method for each visit visible in the programme.
Price and record each building clearly
Use building, core and floor labels consistently on the quote and completion record. Our published rates are an initial budget reference, with a £250 minimum per visit and no VAT added. Stair areas, different methods and separate buildings need a surveyed scope.
Questions from managing teams
Can an occupied building remain open?
We assess how the work can be safely phased with the responsible building team. The access plan must protect the routes people need and define checks before each section is reopened.
Can you clean communal seating at the same visit?
Where the fabric and access are suitable, we can scope it alongside the carpet. Seating requires its own assessment and price; carpet-area rates do not apply automatically.
Can you price several blocks together?
Send the building list and site contacts. We confirm the survey arrangements and keep each building’s scope, access and costs clear.
