One postcode district. Different building needs.

SE1 crosses borough boundaries. We plan commercial carpet cleaning by the actual site address, not by treating Southwark and Lambeth as the same area. Coverage and availability are confirmed using your postcode.

Start with the carpeted areas you manage: an office floor, a shared entrance or a wider maintenance programme. The occupier and the building manager may control different areas, even when they share the same door.

Use the Southwark route for wider borough coverage and include the exact building postcode in your enquiry.

Plan the visit before choosing a date

  1. Define the areas

List the site postcode, floors, carpeted zones and approximate area. Add seating counts as a separate scope.

  2. Agree access and furniture

Share loading and lift arrangements, security requirements, water and power access, and who will move furniture.

  3. Plan the handback

Record when each zone is next needed and who can inspect it. Agree drying and reopening checks against the actual carpet and method.

The right method for the actual carpet

We assess fibre, backing, installation, condition and previous treatments before agreeing a method. Hot water extraction and suitable low-moisture maintenance have different uses and drying requirements. Pristine does not hot-water-extract viscose, rayon or art silk.

Stain removal is not guaranteed. A survey and, where appropriate, a test area help distinguish removable soiling from permanent wear or damage. Seating has its own assessment and return-to-use plan.

A written price and a repeatable maintenance scope

Carpet rates run from £2.00 to £2.80 per square metre, with a £250 minimum per visit and no VAT added. The survey confirms the measured area, access, exclusions and fixed written quote. Stairs, separate buildings and upholstery need their own confirmed scope.

For recurring work, record the condition and use of each zone before agreeing the visit frequency. The initial clean and ongoing maintenance can be scoped separately; a calendar interval alone does not tell you what each area needs.

See the work. Check the approach.

Questions before the survey

Is SE1 the same as Southwark?

No. SE1 is a postcode district spanning parts of Southwark and Lambeth. We confirm coverage and survey arrangements for your exact site address.

Do you clean carpets inside private homes?

No. This service is for commercial premises and communal areas appointed by the managing team. Carpets inside private apartments are not included.

Can you arrange evening or weekend carpet cleaning?

Booked out-of-hours work can be agreed subject to availability, site access and a suitable cleaning and drying plan. Customer response hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00.

Can chairs and sofas be included?

Suitable office or communal seating can be assessed alongside the carpet. Item counts, fabric and condition are checked and upholstery is quoted separately; carpet-area rates do not cover seating.

What should I send to arrange a survey?

Your company, site postcode, building type, carpeted areas and an access contact. Approximate measurements and floor plans help if available. Confirm who can approve the scope for each area.
